Highlights
Quality
I am very pleased with the unit
I also have it paired with a polk powered subwoofer and really havent been happy with the sound of my albums until now
And if for any reason youre not happy with it you can just return it
Matched it with four sony bookshelf speakers and quite pleased with the clarity of sound even at a low volume
Price
3 times the price but wow what a difference
Now that weve got the price out of the way lets talk about the receiver
Packaging/appearance
I was able to connect my turntable and play my records just after taking the receiver out of the box
Competitiveness
I decided to end my midpriced experiment and go more highend
This stereo receiver is made by a longtime reputable brand name in the audio business harmon kardon
So there’s my pitch for why to have a highend audio system on your computer
But again this is a 85w per channel so dont think you can turn your room into a movie theater
