The cloth filter really makes an exceptional unique coffee. The wood is beautiful and i love that it was hand crafted by someone from japan. Instructions for care and use are very clear and simple.

I guess the main issue is keeping the filter clean and how to clean it

Basically you gotta wash the cloth after every use i think rinsing and rubbing under water is enough

Instructions say you should never let the cloth dry otherwise it will acquire an unpleasant the text on the paper cuts there lol im guessing odor or taste

I think you would win some points with a lady if she sees you make her a coffee out of this took 1 star away from my previous rating because i realize how thin the glass is it will explode into a million particles if i bang it on anything hard by accident

Cant let water run down the exterior and settle between the glass and the wood because it will warp the wood

Have to undo the strap almost every time i use it just to wipe off any water
