Pros

The pot itself looks great, and it is not just another drip-thingy. The way it looks in the picture is the correct way, fyi.

Cloth is the way to go, much superior to paper or metal filters. Store your filter in a tighly sealed container with water in the refrigerator.

The coffee brewed with this filter is so silky and flavorful. The hario flannel filters filter coffee quickly. The cloth filter is extremely forgiving.

Glass liner/handle & leather tie are all in the same excellent condition as when i bought it. No imitations and no counterfeit goods with these.

When i want to make another pot, i take it out of the freezer, rinse it under the kitchen tap which instantly thaws it, and then i use it. It requires different grind settings and a different pour technique which i haven't mastered. Flip the sock insi... Read More

Ive not run into a smell or odor with the reusable filter but i have noticed my coffee has a strange aftertaste

The filters were well packaged and were first rate straight from japan packaged in original japanese packaging

We use it daily and once the grounds cool we throw them in the compost and rinse the filter

Note in the photo i drilled a hole in the handle to hang it easily to dry

The product is made with an excellent quiality and the design is just perfect as all of what hario manufactures

My dad loves this thing and only uses this whenever making his pourover

Empty the filter wash it then put it in a ziplock bag and freeze it

Its a hair smaller than the coffe container
