Pros & Cons
Pros
It makes 2 large cups of tea and pours without dripping. It pours perfectly, not a drip. The spout is amazing as is doesn't drip at all.
The glass is scary thin, but withstands when i pour boiling water into it while it sits on my cool granite countertop. It is somewhat fragile (it is glass after all), so when ours broke we had to buy the same one again.
The hario holds enough for two mugs. It brews 2 moderately sized cups of tea, is pleasingly proportioned and it is nice to see the colour intensify as the tea steeps. Bought to make tea in a larger quantity than a single mug.
Easy to clean, and feels sufficiently sturdy (as sturdy as glass can feel anyways). We wash it by hand and it has survived the odd bump with other items in the sink.
Well made with a generously sized tea infuser. Having a glass teapot is aesthetically pleasing.
Highlights
Quality
The quality looks very good and there are no imperfections
Great apparent quality and holds just enough tea for two typical mugs
A bit pricy but the quality is good
Im happy with the size for my morning cuppa but if i wanted to share id want something a bit larger
Price
I would expect the price tag to be higher if i saw it in person and didnt know the price on amazon
Packaging/appearance
I only ask they design the exact same thing in the 1000ml for when i have more people over
Competitiveness
I have always been a fan of hario products and this did not disappoint
I had one of those round bodum glass teapot years ago and it dripped helplessly while pouring
And i would have gotten the 700ml instead because of the price
