Needed an hour meter for a honda handi 3000 generator. Install was done in under 5 minutes, most time was spend drilling a hole for my placement of the meter.

Only one pickup wire and it wraps around the spark plug wire and fastens tightly with a zip tie
Price
While more expensive than i really wanted these are very easy to install and do a great job
Im not a mechanic but this hour meter looks like i paid the dealer 100 to install
I know these items aren’t that big of a deal but when i have to pay close to 60 for something i should get everything in the package

Cut the wire and tie to length

Mount the hour meter with tape or screws i recommend screws and tape 3m autobody tape not the 2stape that comes in the package

When the engine is running an hourglass blinks on the left side and hours count on the right side

The provided wire was much longer than i needed and the instructions didnt tell me i could cut to length

The meter can be tape mounted or attached with screws so being on an outboard motor i opted for the tape
