Pros
They are pressed or hammer tapped evenly to seat properly.
Cons
These axial caps are difficult to install on a 1/2 inch axial. The metal is so hard that even hammering the caps they did not go in on axials.

You can do it like a caveman with a hammer or just slowly press it on real easy

They’ve been on now for a month or so and i tried prying the first set off and realized it was going to take a lot of force

Strong wind knocked over my heavy smoker the handles had heat shielding handles that were held on by these caps but came off when it fell over i could not find them in the tall grass
