Pros & Cons

Pros

Red wheat berries have a chewy texture as well as more flavor. Used to grow fodder for my guinea fowl. The chickens love them more than the lentil sprouts.

I grind these whenever i make pizza dough, and use around 20% of the total weight, the rest is bread flour. The resulting flour is smooth and smells great.

Cons

Paulous seeds barely germinated. Only used a small amount; less than a handful to germinate. Performance for producing wheatgrass for juicing in my experience is clearly disappointing.

It is very frustrating to have so little success. What a waste. Throw all in trash can.

The wheat/bread tastes like the chemicals used to treat the burlap. They come in a treated burlap bag, which contaminates the grain with that kerosene-like smell. The bag has an overwhelming moldy smell.
