Pros
The price on this cable is fantastic! It engages, and disengages very smoothly.
Took 1 hour to install. If your mower is like mine you need to take the battery under the seat out to get into where the s-curve hooks on. Easy install. Check youtube videos for installation tips.
Cons
Piece of junk. Steel cable inside is a few inches too long. Installed and first time used started mowing and spring broke.

Since the part was only 10 and my labor was free it was a great deal

Apparently the 94604137e supersedes the c and replaces several other model numbers and mower brand names
It appears that mtd made many of the mower brands in this size and price range
It functions the same as oem but it costs a hell of a lot less
