I purchased this cable for use in an indoor railing system. It is an excellent value and worked very well. It is ready to work with once you get over the very brief learning curve. Wear gloves and safety glasses (at a minimum) as the stands go flying when it is cut. I used it for an indoor product, so I cannot evaluate its performance in weather conditions - but, it is stainless steel and I expect it would work just fine. I actually have more than I needed for the first project and may end up using the remainder for an exterior project. Basically, I won't hesitate to use it. I strongly suggest you contact your local building inspection office to ensure this will comply with your local regulations during your planning phase. But that's always a good idea.The bend radius is standard for the gauge and the cable takes *properly formed* crimps perfectly. You absolutely MUST invest in the tools required to cut and crimp the fittings for cable. If you plan to use this on a railing system, a failure can be catastrophic. (Please, surely you don't want any kids falling through the safety railing because you were too cheap to do it right...)I do not know the load ratings for this cable and do not recommend it for any critical structural uses. (eg. Hanging a bay window, etc.) It would work fine for hanging pictures or some similar use - though that's kind of overkill for this gauge of cable...but it would look cool!Note that, for a railing, you will need several other parts. However, they are widely available - just do your research first as these systems can get darn expensive. Be certain that you get stainless steel fittings or you could run into corrosion problems down the road.This is a high quality product that I have enjoyed using. I recommend it highly.  Read Less
