After peeling off all the protective paper off each piece the assembly only took about 10 minutes

Its important to soak the filter sponge for a few minutes before use other wise the center divider will try to float

It is apparent from reading the reviews there is an old model and a new model of this

Yes you have to put it together with silicon o rings not rubber bands as stated as i guess the old model had rubber bandsfor assembly
