If you cook this according to the directions you still have enough firmness. Not only is it great tasting, it's healthier because it isn't loaded with pesticides.
Repurposed in a cold quinoa salad with fresh veggies. Use is as salad and rice pilaf, very versatile! I add it to my canned tuna to make it more healthy and add some texture.
A ¼ cup serving provides 6 grams of protein for 180 calories. It's perfect for little mister and i feel good serving it to him. We are a family that is trying to eat more healthy and recently tried quinoa for first time.
