It's educational and nontoxic. Wood base is very smooth. All in all a solidly made toy and safe too. Only drawback is that some of the beads are plastic.

My 8 month old loves this! She's able to manipulate and play with it without having it tumble over. This is a great way to teach your child how to play with toys. You don't have to teach them how to use it.

The suction on this toy is unreal! The balls are smooth & the toy is secure, but the suction cups aren't all that great. Relatively strong suction power. Work best if you wipe them with a wet rag before sticking them down.

Two of the four suction cups warped so they won't hold suction. This makes it difficult for my daughter to move the beads as the whole thing isn't very heavy. Debating to keep or return.
