It only work fine in windows 7. In win8, the software installs but it does not detect the oscilloscope. It can only be used in a single window.

So far i have scoped a fuel injector camshaft hall sender and an air con pressure sender and can now see the wave patterns and read the voltages

I must stress i am no electronics engineer and if i were this would not be my oscilloscope of choice

The oscilloscope comes with a power lead with 2 x usb plugs although i found it worked with just one usb connector

The item is not as large as expected and you have to download the latest software from the manufactures site

The software installed without any problems and i have tried it on windows 7 and windows xp both worked well
