I'm positive ly sure that it was broken during the shipping up to my place, because it wasn't properly packed.

I havent played with the storage functions or connected it to a computer as of yet
I had some trouble with the usb i expected it to save png format to a fat32 filesystem but it seems not to be the case

The scope will remember what you have it set to if it is powered off wait at least 5 seconds after your last setting change
