The sleeping area is divided into 3 sections on hinges which all fold together to become a cube. They do well as ottomans, but they are also easy to open up for sleeping. Just the right size and cushion firmness.

It is very sturdy. With the topper it makes into a great guest bed. Sturdy, well made, looks nice and is comfortable for sitting with a firm, but well padded mattress.

Mattress is very firm but roomy. The 3 sections of the bed each have their own foam padding, held in place by velcro straps. This fit over the mattress pads perfectly and added great softness.

Great for small spaces as a coffee table, ottoman, extra seating and surprisingly comfortable cot-size bed. It fits perfectly in the l of my chaise sofa to keep him from falling.

The smell of the foam mattress is horrible. Outrageous and certainly not worth it.
