The pages hold up well with glue, and i'm sure would do well with some paints too. The journal is well made and presents as described with the exception that the pages are not ruled or lined as indicated.
Cons
Thick yellow paper very lose comes out easily. The pages have no lines thick yellow papervery lose comesout easily.

Now the only thing that i did not like was the pages were unlined and i thought i had purchased lined however looking back at my order i found that i messed up and got the wrong one

The paper is unlined not white kind of a light browntan color and not very thick

The bookmark seems to be sewn in the bottom not the top so not very functional
