So to get pictures of my phone in the trippd i used a handheld mirror and after much trial and error i was able to get some good pictures

Theres only one minor thing i dont like about the clip that holds the phone

Because of the pronounced lip on the edge of the rubber pads my phone couldnt fit behind the lip at both the top and bottom because the phone case has a very slight curvature to it along the edges

The pronounced rubber lip would split the phone case open on the sides where it snaps to together and sometimes make it hard to remove

Its a different brand but it has the same spring loaded clip with the pronounced rubber lip on the edges
