These are solid metal cast puzzles which will not be easily bent out of shape

The solution to this puzzle is a little more tedious than you may expect so unless you intentionally memorize the factory solution youre probably safe solving it once and then going back to it months later

I was absent mindedly manipulating it as i looked it over on first handling and it fell apart for me
