The airmax is very clear at all magnification levels. Magnification adjustment is firm and gives a quality feel. The optics gather a large amount of light, are distortion free, and it has excellent clarity.
You will not be disappointed with this scope. Could not be happier with the scope for the money. I rarely leave reviews,unless a product is exceptional,which this is.
All adjustments work properly although parallax (focus) rotation is a bit stiff. Parallax adj shifts p. Changing power from 3 to 9 changes p. Worked ok on camo silent cat.
Cons
The mount is cheap and won't hold up to high powered air rifles! Wow what a piece of junk. Save your money folks this thing is terrible in every way. Maybe as much junk as original scope, most certainly not any better.

This is a compact scope and the eye relief is a little short so there isnt a lot of room to move the scope forward and backward within the scope rings so keep that in mind i
