    Ive tried the lens with and without the filter fitted and could nor discern any difference when about half of the original was expanded to fit on a3 paper

    From the commentsizian saysi took 50 photos in 4 light conditions to compare the use of a uv filter to no filter and found almost no difference in the resulting image

    Since you have the same camera as me i can tell you that you might notice a difference in situations where there is bright sunlight and heavy shadows but with a filter this cheap youll notice lens flare before that difference
