Price-to-benefit ratio is very high since it is very good at what it does. Can't really comment on durability except for the pen is still going after a year. Must buy for the traveling photographer, enthusiast or professional.

Cons
Microfibre pad seems to have dried up. Black powder residue on the felt pad end of the lenspen leaves a black residue on your expensive lens, which is difficult to remove.
Yes, it sheds, but it's okay. The brush part isn't even that soft and sheds. It has an ordinary brush at one end and at the other a small rounded dry cup having foam attached.

There are few things worse than returning from a shoot to find bits of gunk on the lens have caused aberrations in the image it can only mean more time spent in post correcting the blotches perhaps even a total loss
