Initially it would not read the disc and it just spun and spun but after a couple of minutes it came to life and rana afull cycle

I am sorry to say that it did not work and i will now have to either see if i can clean them manually or hopefully find a replacement

I had a dvd based satnav in the car and it was taking ages to fire up and on many occasions it would produce an error with regards to reading the dvd

I thought id have to replace the faulty drive or get a new laptop

Popped this into my dvd player it did a count down and all done

Works well on most dvd players didnt save my toshiba but i think thats beyond cleaning
