Pros
The converter feels solid, not at all flimsy. Worth every penny. Recieved the product and was very promt and well wrapped.
Cons
The tape brake doesn't fully disengage. Have emailed the company. No phone number. Faulty had to return the build quality appears to be very light.

As a tip i used an electric screwdriver with the right sized attachment to rewind the tape and get the memories

Lucky someone mentioned it in their review otherwise i wouldve had to return it as there is no way to contact the seller either and no instructions online or in the box

Whilst this helps to stabilise the capstons during playback and winding in the vcr i have noticed that on a couple of occasions the tape did not load correctly in the adapter and the jaws failed to lock correctly

This gives the impression that the left hand spindle is bent but actually you just need to unload and reload the tape in the adapter

If you hear a clicking sound from the vhsc tape during loading into the adapter then that might be an indication it hasnt loaded properly
