I have to walk her on the lead as her recall is unreliable and she jumps up on people

She is a large strong dog aged 21 months and i was becoming stressed by her reactivity to other dogs which led her to lunge and bark even if they were on the other side of the road and i found it really difficult to control her and make her carry on walking

I hadnt tried the halti before because i had read reviews that it rode up into the dogs eyes but i am not finding that it does so by all means read reviews but do try things out for yourself because not all dogs face shapes are the same and you might find just the right one to suit your dog

We already had the balti harness for both and while there was a small improvement we thought we would try the headcount after reading the reviews

After the first 100 yards and numerous attempts to remove the head collar both dogs were walking without pulling

Unfortunately none of those seemed to work so we resorted to trying a headcollar

The material was okay but it was quite hard to put on and our dog hated wearing it so it made walking him very difficult
