The plot moves at a pretty quick pace. There is a love triangle that actually worked in this instance and didn't grow too tiresome. This is not a complex story like the silo sagas, but it is an interesting one.

They are fifteen years old when they are woken from their nutrition vats. On board are 500 blastocytes, each in it's own pod. A group of people are sent to a planet to colonize if possible, they find difficulties.



Cons

They devise a giant water slide. His stories read less like scifi and more like a twilight zone episodes. I get the impression that howdy was in a rush to finish the work and slapped on a kind of careless ending.

The main character isn't even likeable; he kisses foreheads way too often. Oh, the twist is a poorly developed thread dealing with the * of the lead character.

    Somewhat disconcerting is the ais insistence on diverting their efforts to building a rocket to be sent back to earth with vital info rather than encouraging plans to provide immediate housing clothing and food gathering
