And i would consider them approaching blackout although they dont have the white thermal backing typical of blackout drapes which i think looks cheap

They do not have the white blackout liner in the back but they are quite thick

I originally wanted to order these curtains in the nocturne blue but they didnt have it in the 50x120 size so i ordered the navy blue eclipse color instead
