The fan is beautiful, effective, and whisper quiet. It's subtle (even attractive). It's utterly silent. It is powerful or subtle - whatever you want. It’s sleek and would fit in any decor.

Haiku offers a wifi module for $50 when they sell the haiku l on their own website. The app is quite good and allows full control from a smartphone. And lastly, the baf app works well via wifi.

Most of the time was unwrapping each piece since it's packaged so well. It def requires 2 ppl to install! I am not a handyman by any means but the directions were straightforward and flawless.

It comes with one wireless ir remote and a wall holder for it. The remote does everything i need it to do.

The fan randomly shuts itself off when the speaker is on. The fan shorted out because of condensation.

Alexa support is very limited and documentation is almost non-existent for troubleshooting. All of my fans register to the alexa app but appear as device disconnected even though working from the ios ap.

Baf haiku l-series are manufactured in malaysia and do not offer repair parts or service in the us. The fan needs a “no draft” mode for winter, which baf specifically advertises. None of those fixtures have been affected.

Software for haiku home fans is buggy. Problems with connectivity and firmware updates. Wall controllers can't talk to fans if wifi goes out. Fan/light won't connect to my wi-fi.
