Pros

Haier tends to manufacture good products, and so far i'm happy with this one. This unit works ao well. Could not be happier with the purchase.

This haier is much quieter. It’s not quite but it doesn’t rattle. A bit noisy but doing it's job si fat.

The unit is small (approx 13” wide x 10” long x 21” tall) and easy to move around if needed. It has a bigger footprint than a refrigerator. It's maybe a 200 square foot space and it handles it fine.

The dehumidifier has the normal power, fan speed, humidity level, and a delay start/stop. It has a smart dry mode that allows the fan speed to adjust automatically. I really like how it shuts itself off when the humidity drops to the set target.

Cons

Lost its coolant after 2 years and 1 week. Material is very thin and flimsy so not surprised it’s not aligned right and rattles. They are all pretty much the same and all pretty marginal.

The shower tiles are staying clean the air feels better and overall the air quality is so much better

Again with the efficiencies of modern technology theres no reason that the unit has to be large

Packaging/appearance

Highly recommend getting one if you use the petsafe self cleaning litter box

As a result i removed the hose and kept emptying the bucket

Instead it comes with a removable water container that fills up and you have to empty the container

Competitiveness

It does an impressive job in a bathroom 12ft x10ft bathroom with vaulted ceilings

If you were to go through all of my reviews i dont recommend it you would find out that i am a humidfier fan

Dont drink it that would be bad but its fine for plants to refill a toliet to put in the pool things like that
