If you often write with chalk (especially in a front-of-the-classroom setting) and can afford the markup, this is worth at least trying. Flows so smoothly. Great for writing on the blackboard for lecture.
This chalk is perfection in my opinion. This stuff endows you with superpowers. I admit that it's hard to know if my impressions are objective or if i just want to participate in a little chalk snobbery.

The coating on all the pieces to keep dust off your fingers saves the day and the density of each piece makes the product extremely sturdy
Vibrant colors writes smoothly and wipes away pretty easily without leaving too much residue on the board
Crayola chalk was very good for a long time but nowadays they have become crap with lot of impurities
It is difficult to get even sharp and continuous lines with sidewalk chalk

This chalk worked much better than other brands we purchased

The white did not stand out as much next to other brands at my house but the colors were definitely worth it
