I liked the results of these better than with the test strips

Im happy to be able to see that my hardness is down from 10 grains to 0 with my water softener determined by the test i know i can trust

Then i remembered when i was in the chemical business we used to test water hardness with the hach 5b tester

The kit that came with the strips did have a chart with this information so i used it

Similarly pre softner from landscape outside tap can be tested for hardness

I recommend that anyone with a culligan water softner go to you tube and learn how to set your softner
