Pros
Replacement wick is thicker and fits the base of the humidifier like a glove. It works like it should, install and turn on the dehumidifier. This puts out more moisture than the honeywell one that shipped with my humidifier ever did!
This one is the thickest and most absorbent of the bunch. It's nice and thick, seems to disperse hydration well.
Cons
The only thing honeywell about this is the little sticker that comes on the plastic bag that it arrives in. You'll be disappointed.
Hac-504 does not humidify as well due to being less dense. This filter was moldy within less than a month. Even with the humidifier running on low constantly with ample water, the top of the filter gets crusty and dried out.
It barely stands up in the machine when wet and is ultra flimsy. Has no real structure so it just flops about in the humidifier. After that, it has no rigidity.
