Pros & Cons

Pros

This game is sturdy and well made like all haba products. I am impressed by its sturdiness and compact size. It's a genius game.

Each round, each player chooses the gems color they want the most. The gem stones are about the size of a kernel of corn so keep an eye on kids and animals because they are a tempting choking hazard.

Bought this to play with our 5 year old granddaughter. My 5. Amp;7 year old grandkids think this is a fun game.

I actually request playing it with my son who is 6 and autistic. It goes very fast so he can even get his 11 and 16 year old siblings to play without hassle. The three-year old does fine though doesn't exactly play optimally.

The holographic areas on the wooden “daddy” dragon are a nice touch. Each younger dragon the players choose as a pawn are adorable! I especially like the chunky wooden dragon dad figure.

Cons

Instructions/rules of the game are ridiculously convoluted and confusing and set up is quite involved. Bizarre how many logos this manufacturer slaps on all their pieces. It really ruins immersion.
