Pros

Martingale collar and leash are excellent quality. Hand cushioning is wonderful while the least itself is very durable and sturdy. The leash is also a smaller diameter than the medium and the hooks and buckles are smaller, lighter and less bulky.

This style of collar is easier to put on and off and can be loose, but still prevents escapes. Even though the collar buckle is made from plastic, it has a locking mechanism that helps prevent it from breaking or popping loose.

I have a carolina dog (american dingo, breed was wild until the 70s). Got this for my foster dog and got this for our newest addition. Already bought a second one for my fast growing pup.

Cons

The leash is great and but the collar is garbage. The lock feature on this collar rattles loudly, very loudly. The collar is non-slip & non breaking but is not effective as a slip lead.
