You must make sure to turn the egg on and make sure the purple light is on before inserting it otherwise the remote will not turn it on

Unfortunately there is no charging or accessible battery source for the remote so if it dies i am assuming you will not be able to use anymore

For most people this would be a positive but when i picked my partner up from the airport and gave him the remote i was a bit dissapointed that i had to turn it back on from the toy itself before the remote would work
