Its not compatible with the system they already have so we ended up purchasing a separate dvr that is compatible that cost us 65 on amazon

We liked this idea better because we have several other cameras running on our main dvr and this way we have access to just this dvr and we can always add additional camera units

Its not cheaply made its real glass and super heavy duty the wires dont stick out like some of the cheap crap units on amazon either

Another great thing is that you get a 1year warranty with it
