Pros

This product is awesome! It works wonderfully. I'm amazed to see how well this small unit works. It works great.

The sleeve bearing is a bit noisy at startup but it eventually quiets down. It is very quiet.

The gurin compact dehumidifier, dhmd-210 is a great addition to our bathroom. For small room it's an absolute winner. Fits almost any space.

Cons

Gurin dehumidifier has a major design flaw in the power unit. The green light inexplicably ceases to come on, or the light comes on but there is no fan. The unit has been discontinued and the ac adapter cannot be purchased separately.

I own 3 that don't work that i bought from amazon. I'm pretty sure they're just stringing me along until i give up. Never worked straight out of the box.

Very small dehumidifier removes very small amount of moisture. Ran for two days in a warm high humidity environment and produced only 8 ounces of water.
