If you slightly moisten your finger tip and then place it on the fingerprint pad it pops open at once

Bottom line up fronti would not buy this safe again i would buy the less expensive non biometric version

I tested the biometric with slightly wet fingertips attempting to simulate sweat or worse case scenario blood and it would not read my fingerprint at all
