I measure a 5 12 but usually wear a 6 so i bought the 5 like the reviews were suggesting but they were slightly too small

If you want a slipper which is solid more of a house shoe than a fireside snuggler then gumbies are the ones

My view is that the length is absolutely bang on but they are a wide fitting a little like wearing a pair of crocs

Also the height of the heel fitting is not tall enough to stay on your heel

However the upper stretches a lot more than the mule slipper i had previously from a well known trainershoe brand and to the point where the shoe is now at least 12 size bigger and it’s difficult to walk properly without shuffling
