It comes in a plastic/cellophane sleeve, with that placed in basically a larger plastic/ cellophaneleeve. The possibilities are endless. No more fumbling around or paying for setups. This is an easy tool to use.
As a tool, it is an exceptional value at the price i paid. The edges are relatively sharp, as i would expect, so be careful when you use it to prevent scratches. The cut edges are clean and true and the rest can be finished as you desire.
Nice aluminum luthier's straight edge, thick enough to be durable. Made of steel, not aluminum, so it has some weight to it. My only complaint is the straight edge is very sharp edges.
Cons
It makes it junk. It's useless as a ruler. Sadly, this item just isn't made well. Would not recommend.

I’m not going to spend 100 for a stew mac as a hobbyist
Never bought one before because stewmac prices are ridiculous
