I couldve used polyester or felt from my local fabric shop for a 14th of the cost but this fabric was designed specifically for acoustic treatment with lots of rd work put in id imagine

The only minor downside which didnt affect me was that theres a fabric run about an inch away from each edge which makes the fabric at each edge unusable

It is tight weave but you can see through it in some spots like the white wood frame around the edges

I did fire test it over a small open flame

With the flame down a foot from the fabric nothing

But when i got the flame closer it caught fire quickly and was ash in a matter of seconds
