Pros & Cons

Pros

Two of my kids actually stand on it at a time. Seems sturdy for a toddler. Step-up is invaluable in helping them get to your level at a counter. My 2 yr old kid loves it.

This kitchen helper is solid after it is put together and does not wobble at all. The step-up is a bit pricey, but is solidly constructed, stable and manageable.

The slip grips on the steps are the texture of sandpaper so be prepared for that. All of the parts have a nice finish on them but this finish is slick. Easy to assemble.

After approximately four months of use, the product receives a thumbs up. Very attractive and looks nice in my kitchen.

Cons

This is the most difficult-to-assemble product i've ever encountered. The dowel peg holes are way to loose and the dowel pins are way too short. One of the corners has a ding in it and it shreds like cardboard.

The no slip pads are reddish instead of off white or cream. It works but my son complains that it is scratchy. The stain is also seen on the paper towels and does not stop, despite countless number of paper towels.
