Pros & Cons
Pros
I really like mine, it works fabulously! Good umbrella. It's so reassuring to have a company that actually sells good products and sends understandable instructions and hints.
Shadebuddy has saved me from sunstroke more than once. It's like having a portable tree with you to provide shade. The silver top of the umbrella reflects light and heat, and keeps the painter very cool. The shade is sufficient.
This is the best umbrella i've found for plein air painting. The bag has a quality zipper, a comfortable sling, fits the umbrella kit perfectly. I like having an umbrella separate from the rest of the plein air painting setup.
I also like that it is separate from my easels so that when a gust of wind comes up, the umbrella doesn't take the easel with it. The stand is extremely well made and there is no problem pushing it into the ground with a shoe.
