Pros

Needed to lower the hardness of the water for my spa. Only one complaint the glue they use to keep the plastic end caps on is not very good. Simply unwrap and install on garden hose and place over lip of pool and start filling.

Cons

This filter is a pos. I have well water and had trouble with my hottub being murky. The end pieces of the worthless styrofoam tube are not securely fastened to the “filter “.

The ends are just glued on. Came completely unpackaged. Fell apart after 5 minutes of use. Made it unusable now.
