Logicmark guardian alert 911 system is not worth the trouble. It does not compare favorably with a simple cell phone, except for the issue of locating the caller if they are unable to talk. Service is like joke.

You have to press and hold the button down for a about 2 seconds before it dials out
The call button is very sensitive and easy to press accidentally but it wont activate until you hold it 2 seconds

It was exactly what i was looking fora simple device to call 911 with no monthly fees
This was a fantastic find for my 91 year old uncle that in no way could afford the lifealert system which is where we started looking
I brought this for i wont have to pay a monthly fee
I had one that required a monthly charge of about forty dollars a month

The seller was also excellent delivering the unit quickly and even sent a followup email to make sure i was happy with the purchase
And it was here within a week
911 call was successful and paramedics arrived within a few minutes

Have tried others in the past this is the best by far the range is better than advertised
Other companies are third party and bill you monthly that is absurd

We have the piece of mind knowing if she fell or became ill she could push the button on the unit hanging around her neck and speak directly with 911

She has a land line so even if she could not talk the land line information would alert them to where she is calling from
