The cain zapper is actually better but this one is good to have in your pocket. The taser part is discreet.

Electric arc is a loud pop or crack that will scare most people away. It isn't something that requires an ounce of conscious thought, you feel it on an instinctual level. I feel i could protect my pups if the occasion arose.

Works as advertised. It has a nice grip so it won't slip out of your hands. Thankfully haven't had to use it.

The stun gun part works but the flashlight only blinks and does not hold a beam. The charger itself is a loose charger when plugged into the wall. The holster looks nothing like the holster advertised it leaves the prongs exposed.

Not even one day out of it. But fer eff sakes. Seldom used.

Even the case is cheaply made. Only holds a charge a couple days. I know this because i went to the site to update my review after the battery finally died. Warranty is only as good as the company issuing it.
