Pros

It's not the best price for ddr3 ram, but my first (cheapest) choice didn't let the hardware post. My ancient lga1155 motherboard is now maxed out at 32 gb. The pcb is covered from view looking straight at the motherboard.

Easy to install and decently priced. Brand new and very affordable.

G. Skill ripjaws are just awesome. I've been a g. Skill loyalist for close to ten years, and have never been disappointed. Had g-skill already in my pc, just adding more ram. G-skill is an impressive brand. I'm a gb loyalist.

No performance issues with my gaming setup, even after 6-8+ hour sessions. Tested with prime 95 and intel burn test, and mem86+ with no errors. Passing any memory diagnostic test- showing the longevity of this product.

Cons

Skill's 'warranty' effectively covers nothing and their customer service is the worst. Get bad post data and bad pool data and other bsod. Couldn't even pull up a * report. No way to change the speed or the timing settings on this ram to make it behav... Read More

I had a set of gskill ddr2 that ran for 12 years overclocked

Be careful on using these with amd ryzen even though its listed as compatible it ends up having problems if you have more than 16gb of ram
