Pros

Bought this as a kayak gearbox to hold electronics. Works great to protect valuables in boat's glove box. I use this with a rechargeable desiccant pack to store those $8 lush bath bombs which crumble to dust in a humid bathroom.

This is a great choice for housing metered electronics. I have cable glands mounted on it to hold a ethernet to usb extender outdoors. It is waterproof.

The clamped top seems good. Latches work well. The * give more confidence than the one on my pelican case. Having to do this is a small inconvenience so that you have toiletries arrive intact.

I am impressed, it's quite sturdy and well made. A little heavy, but heavy-duty often is.


Cons

Walmart sells what appears to be an identical box 4 deep waterproof box for $8. First off the box isn't waterproof. The precision of the latches is problematic.
