Pros & Cons
Pros
This makes excellent coffee just like you would in the 1920s-1970s. Now it is secure. Cleaning is a bit of a pain but all the parts come a part.
Using a paper filter works well for a single person. I use this when i go camping and it works great.
When the whistle comes, transfer the water to the percolator. Brews quickly.
This makes one nice-sized mug and uses slightly more than half of the volume. Small size makes it easy for packing for car camping trips.
Cons
Lid is not threaded. Metal gives coffee a weird grayish color. Stainless steel is thin and coffee overheats.
The max level says 3 cups, after filling to the 3 cup mark i poured the water into a measuring cup. Brewed a full pot of coffee and was only able to get a little over 12 oz.

But the basket perch on the pump tube is at least 3 mm 18 in

The lid does not stay on the basket

Instead the lip catches on the pot rim and hangs above the basket
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
That leads to coffee grounds spilling over the basket edge and into the coffee
