I bought this pack of 10 bulbs for a sailboat I'm restoring (1987 Cal 28). It had incandescent bulbs throughout the cabin that would drop the battery voltage by .3 volts just turning one of them on. I put these in and didn't see any drop at all until i turned on 4 of them. They fit just fine, and so far all of them have worked (have tested all but 2). Not sure how they'll stand up to the elements long term, but inside, in a decent enclosure, I expect they'll last quite a while.The lights are a bit bright for the berths, but are great in the galley and salon. They're also a little on the white side(but not blue), but I like that. The incandescents were too dim and orange, probably good for at night (to keep your night vision), but not great to see or read by. I'll probably order a set of the smaller ones for the berths, and save the rest of these for the next boat.  Read Less
