Stainless steel is not that thick but pot seems pretty robust and well made

It does drip slightly if you overfill the pot

Also next day filter becomes easy to empty as tea has dried out slightly

After 2 mugs have been pored the tea stops brewing as the basket is suspended slightly above the bottom of the pot
